Everything about this place ! it's a beautiful little place tucked away in Kiah, located very close to the A1 highway. Great farm experience, my 3 year old loved every minute of the stay. Peacocks, Alpecas, sheep, geese, hens and sprawling area to either camp or stay in the property. there is also a pet friendly room for people traveling with pets. there's a full blown kitchen which the owner let us use and even was gracious enough to share his supplies alongside. great value for money, i'd love to go back there
Perfect hideaway stay. Beautiful grounds and lots of animals to look at. Great breakfast
This place has everything you need for comfort
Quite, beautiful, good for kids.
We had a great time at Kiah Country Gardens and it was a perfect base for exploring the nearby Ben Boyd National Park and Eden. We were upgraded into a separate lodging even though we booked to stay in a family room and it was great to have all that space to ourselves. My husband and girls very much enjoyed the freshly baked scones with jam and cream for breakfast - what a wonderful way to start a day :)
Beautiful view from our room overlooking the fields and the peacocks where housed right below our deck. A special treat was the new baby peacock just out of its shell that day. The room was very comfortable. Great selection of food for breakfast but ours was extra special as it included 3 freshly laid eggs that our host got our grand daughter to collect from the chicken coop and his wife poached them for our breakfast. The river is beautiful also, crystal clear. I'm sure we will return. :)
Amazing location. Peace & tranquillity. Lovely hosts. Made to feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble.
Well maintained, clean and comfortable. Beautiful surroundings making it easy to relax. Lovely hosts who were happy help where they could. Having access to the full kitchen was great.
Our stay was a dream, I only wish it had been longer! We had peacocks right outside our window. My 8-year-old and I were invited to help feed the animals in the evening. The owners lent us a wonderful Australian children's movie (Oddball) that we hadn't seen. We watched it from the comfort of our luxuriously soft beds. In the morning we had fresh pancakes and cocoa for the road.
The property was amazing and Scott and Amanda went out of their way to look after us and make us feel at home. We didn't arrive until 8pm and Scott still took the time to show us around the property and introduce my daughter to all the animals. The room was nice, the view from the room was amazing, the bed was super comfortable. In the morning Amanda looked after us, preparing a delicious breakfast and coffee. There is lots to do on the property, feeding animals, mini golf, swimming and kayaking at the beach. We just wished we had realised how beautiful it was there before we booked as we would have booked 2 nights or at least arrived earlier.
